This is my theory on why The Upside Down appears frozen on November 6. So we know the upside down is like a region between two locations in spacetime. Now Imagine the abyss above and Hawkins below, connected by an inverted cone shaped structure, with the Upside Down occupying the space in between, like the picture Dustin drew. In both the abyss and Hawkins, time flows normally, but in the Upside Down, spacetime is highly distorted. This distortion forces time to follow a longer, curved path, effectively slowing its passage, a phenomenon similar to gravitational time dilation near a black hole, as shown in Interstellar. As a result, time moves much more slowly in the Upside Down than in the surrounding worlds, which makes it appear frozen at that specific moment. I have no idea if it’s correct or anything but I think it’s a good theory☺️

Yes there were flaws but I totally agree with you about people just taking it too seriously and therefore ruining for themselves. It was an emotional masterpiece in that it gave closure to all the important characters. A fitting way to say goodbye. I cried so many times. And can we just stop for a moment and just appreciate PRINCE please!!!??

You literally just spoke my mind 😂 I took it waaaay too seriously, going down rabbit holes of theories on Twitter that were way better than what we got 🤣 and yet, I’m an emotional wreck and there were parts I truly loved. Also, I keep telling myself I have to get over it but…it hasn’t worked yet 💀
