Credentials: I have 4c hair. Your hair has to be SOAKING wet when styling. If your hair starts to dry, use a spray bottle to refresh your hair with water. Use The Doux Mousse - idk what that is but throw it away lol

That’s not a wash and go. That’s finger coils. Get some cheribe butter crème and brush that through soaked hair from roots to tip.

Stop putting gel and mousse in your wash n go. Use leave in conditioner, honey hydrate, blue magic grease and water. Stop detangling your hair during a wash n go process….

not enough water. if you want your wash and go to last you need your hair nearly soaked. you also need a stronger mousse, like the doux. the gel you used is pretty drying, so maybe try a different gel as well. also, make sure you REALLY work the product into your hair from root to end before you finger coil. if your hair still looks dry in some places you havent done enough

I would recommend The Doux products ! The Afro balm for hydration or even the Dear Mama moisture milk first ak then either the big poppa defining gel or bee girl honey curl custard . All super hydrating and will help with definition

Try the raking method next time. Finger coiling really only works for loser hair types. I also have a couple wash and go tutorials on my page if you need help🩷

Hey sis! Drench your hair in water in sections. Try raking the gel instead of finger coils! And apply the gel from root to tip not just your ends.

Hair needs to be soaking wet and try using a mist spay water bottle instead! You got this! I also would use the doux or not your mother gel instead 😁
