i feel like a lot of apartments say 3x required but don’t actually enforce it because i KNOW some of my neighbors don’t make that 💀 mine is $1.1k and i barely make the cut.

I live in Seattle, which has one of the highest minimum wages in the country ($21.30), and that still isn't even close to being able to afford a $1500 1bdr apartment (and realistically, for shutting even half-decent you need to pay closer to $2k out here...)

a billionaire makes 1000 per hour, a high school graduate earns 12 per hour, but the reflected average income is 30 per hour, and we cry about giving the people who make the world go round a few extra in their checks, billionaires are the problem... creating poverty waged employment
