ok there’s a reason why these are called UNSPOKEN RULES bc the first time i went, i saw carts lined up along the wall with blankets covering some and i had no idea why they were there. i thought workers were pulling stuff out of the carts and putting into bins.. it took me so long to realize they were people’s carts. one of them was filled to the brim with JUST shoes so yeah it didn’t look like someone’s cart

Unspoken rule in Portland: A line forms outside of the doors before morning opening. People use random objects (a water bottle cap/ball of tin foil) to hold their place in line and it’s respected.

In Dallas, they don't allow children under 16 in, carts are required to be on the walls, and when a new bin comes out, they clear the aisles on both sides of the new bins so people can't jump in front of all the people that are waiting in line.
