This seems much more intuitive and natural. Finding the center plane does not at all help people figure out the facets of a face like this method does

The center line has always felt weird because on a real face the center exists in 3d space and isn’t a straight line downward. Might have to try this

how would you apply this to different head shapes. i feel like this would just make me draw those weird "perfect" heads would you use this to learn basics or could you adapt it as a base for more characteristic drawings?

Best part about this is that it can be applied to any face shape if you squash and stretch the proportions
