@coloradoguide: The Royal Arch trail is a beautiful, 4 mile round trip hike, in Boulder, Colorado! With 1,500 feet of elevation gain and a steep trail, this hike is pretty difficult. However, it is definitely worth it, as you get incredible views of the flatirons! Ran into a big black bear at the top before sunset. He was coming up the last leg to the top and it’s pretty much 1 way. Very scary had no where to go as he was blocking the exit
