My cousin said this to his wife even after they had kids. They went on a road trip and they went to the cemetery to see his Dads grave site and told her to wait in the car while him and the kids went to the grave because she wasn’t family. Then he couldn’t understand why she left him 😏

i remember gazing over my newborn son's cot and saying to my husband. Can you believe how much you can love something? He said"Yeah, you and Amelia are a close second." Amelia is my daughter and he'd been in her life she was 1. She was 5 at this point. I was devastated by this.

Ah ha! Someone in the comment section just explained why they don’t consider the person they married as family. They’re disposable in their minds. They can be replaced and technically you can’t replace a blood relation. That’s cold. It explains a lot though.

My ex used to tell me he didn’t like for me to wear makeup. He was always telling me I didn’t need to wear makeup. So I backed off from wearing makeup until one day he was describing a lady who his friend was dating. He told me she was the “pretty type you know the type that wears makeup and stuff” I was done with him.
