This happened to me. I went in for stomach surgery, and without my knowledge or permission, they removed my gallbladder. I did not find that out until about four years later after having tremendous amount of digestive problems. They refuse to give me my medical records. The only reason I found out is because another doctor that I was going basically threatened them and they turned the records over to her. That is how I found out that they had taken my gallbladder without my knowledge or permission!
