Their phone number is (770)-209-5355 and email: [email protected] Today I received a call from Kim at BarkVille Dog Rescue telling me they had to rush Cheecho to the ER. This morning, while at his foster home, Cheecho suddenly started screaming in pain. He was taken to the vet right away, where X-rays raised concern for something neurological, and they were advised to rush him straight to the emergency hospital. Cheecho is now being kept at the ER through the weekend and is on strong pain medications because he is in a lot of pain. Just keeping him there over the weekend will cost between $5,000 and $6,000. On Monday, he will need to see a neurologist and will likely need an MRI. They suspect a herniated disc and believe surgery may be necessary. The total estimated cost is between $13,000 and $17,000. I know this is a lot of money to ask. But I refuse to give up on any dog, especially Cheecho. He came from a cruelty case and has already been through more than any dog ever should. I truly hope we can help him get through this so he can finally live a normal, happy, and loving life. If you can donate, please do.
