I mean the problem is in the statement he's making. why does this generation have to sacrifice convenience, and treats because the cost of living to pay ratio is ridiculous. Past generations used to take taxes everywhere and have third places to hang out. they are literally glamorizing working to survive. all your money goes to survival nothing to pleasure. the extra time you have goes to another job because one job won't pay the bills. I don't know why this goes over everyone's heads.

I looked at my last 30 days bank statement and realised I spent over $600 last month on take away.. thats just for me not the whole family. I almost died! Needless to say I will be much more mindful of what I spend and what I put in my body. I deleted uber eats and started meal prepping.

Great practical solution. People whinge that we need to fix property prices and so on, whilst other follow these tips and achieve what they aim for. Yes it is hard and others had it easier, but wishing won’t solve the problem.

i don’t know a single person in my generation that ubers when they don’t have to or eats out so much that it impacts savings. nice idea in theory though, keep trying!
