People are unbearably snooty, as if taste is dictated by pedigree. There are countless esteemed jewelry houses Buccellati, Chaumet, Chopard, Boucheron, and Graff, to name a few. Still, I’ll continue to wear my VCA and Cartier pieces because I appreciate whimsy, craftsmanship, and Art Deco elegance, not hollow gatekeeping.
