I think there’s sometimes a misunderstanding about what SNAP is meant for. SNAP stands for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program — meaning it’s intended to help supplement food costs, not necessarily cover every grocery item for the entire month. If certain items aren’t covered, the idea is that SNAP helps with the basics and people supplement the rest themselves

Why are people so insanely hateful over poor people having a treat;something that might make them feel like a normal human being? But the amount of “my taxes” that go to foreign countries, crooked politicians (how do they all turn out to be millionaires.), interest on debt, etc etc . doesn’t rile anyone up.
