fr I hate when I talk in English and I actually say a word that has a X I said it as sh bc in Chinese and Vietnamese it made a sh sound and with some words I struggle on bc of anything with x I said sh and everyone like it's x sound and I was ok and they said learn English and so yeah.

I think it’s very elegant even especially if I notice specific vocabulary cos I immediately think „wow this person is probably fluent in 3 others and has a degree in each language, so smart!“

würde ich niemals machen!! dasselbe gilt für die Aussprache eines einzelnen Wortes. korrigieren ist natürlich okay, aber beschämen oder lustig machen nicht. wenn ein deutscher zum Beispiel ein englisches Wort richtig benutzt, es aber falsch "deutsch" ausspricht, dann heißt das nur, dass er es wahrscheinlich gelesen hat, also die Bedeutung versteht, aber nicht die Aussprache richtig weiß. das ärgert mich auch immer extrem, wenn jemand sich darüber lustig macht 😐

I only saw this on TikTok, where people were saying they hate accents. Super weird. I also got the vibe that it’s kind of an American thing. But you’re totally right, accents are cute.
