@shon.fitness: Tried my new A7 Rigor Mortis stiff knee sleeves for the first time. There’s going to be a bit of a learning curve. Any tips on how to break them in? #A7 #squat #powerlifting #strongwomen #GymTok
My biggest suggestion is to save them only for your heaviest squats, like RPE 9+. A lot of people will use them every time they squat and it will have big results at first but then returns diminish because they become dependent on them. As far as them being painful, there’s not much to make that better. Try having them a little lower on your quad so they are cutting circulation off up there. I will sometimes roll them down, not all the way down, but roll the top part over the bottom part to give my quads a break in between sets.

Mine are an xl and I felt like I was going to rip off my calves. Should I size up once or twice?

I would keep two knee sleeves, one that are broken in and another that still has its stiffness for heavier sets down your programming

Ditto to what the others said. I use them on primary squats and non stiffs on secondaries. You’re gonna love em.

I just got a pair and almost panicked taking them off. It doesn't feel like I will be able to walk in them, let a lone squat with them.

They definitely do break in with time but I agree with the comment above ^ I only use mine for my heavier weeks and started doing this the last few blocks of always using the stiff sleeves. It’s helped a tremendous amount
