Notice what they did there? They blamed this hypothetical president, and claimed he’s a nationalist right winger, and that his opposition, is a female left winger. In reality, however, we know that Chavez then later, maduro, are both communists who ran on the same promises of social justice.

The problem is that Venezualan oil is heavy sour sludge (very heavy, incredibly high sulfer and other pollutants that have to be scrubbed during the refining process, making it uneconomical to refine). - Their mineral deposits are all in inland jungles (extremely difficult to access and work in), and getting them to the coast for shipment is highly problematic because the entire coastline where their ports are located is a sheer cliff, meaning heavy truck traffic is impossible, so they have to use "half-trucks" which jam up the roads constantly.
