@sorceresstriss: My IG account was originally just a place that I shared what games I was playing to connect to others. I started to see people cosplay in 2014 and tried it myself. I did not get serious about making cosplay content until late 2023 and I was surprised how much I liked the editing side of things. I am overall happy to have done it. The usual things can get to me, like comparing myself to others, feeling like I am “not good enough,” and getting frustrated with the algorithm. However, the positives out way all of that. It usually is a confident booster, it motivates me to keep excercising and eat well, I am able to connect to others, and I made a lot of friends. So definitely don’t regret it. I joined TikTok on Christmas back in 2020 and saw a few people cosplaying on the for you page. I wanted to give it a try and while officially started cosplaying in 2022, my first ever TikTok was with my elf onesie which I use for Christmas TikToks, so technically I started on the same day I joined the app.
