just take a min to run down the top and bottom plate 16s are marked on tapes and then go to nailing its not hard and its quick

Just hook the end of the wall pull tape mark every stud 3/4” back and they will be on perfect layout. that will take forever

You're using it upside down. If you turn it around it holds the top plate too.

this is nice because you could cut a spacer BUT this will hold all 3 boards down and no movement when drilling or nailing. a spacer won't do that
