Collard greens are a nutrient rich superfood about as nutrient rich as kale. If they don’t want to eat it that’s really fine by me I don’t need the prices on collard greens going up when other people decide it’s the next superfood trend

I feel like some people make up this hypothetical beef with Africans and sow division among black communities cause this one doesn’t even make sense. I can speak for west Africa but we have many dishes that are stewed greens aka “soggy” so I don’t get why they would not get collard greens all of a sudden?

Collard greens are a treat in my household.🤗 We usually only eat them on holidays. They're so flavorful and good!😋 I honestly don't care that they don't like our greens. I'm sure I probably don't care for some of their dishes. And that's okay.

I can’t even imagine eating dry collard greens. Before my granny cleans her greens some of them are literally so hard she can’t break the stems with her hands anymore, who would just wanna eat that without any type of moisture added

Thanks for telling them! Also, some of use done even add shredded meat like this..my family has always just added either salt jowl or turkey wings to flavor the water (pot likker) ❤
