high revs actually clear carbon deposits and if you never drive it hard it hot enough it’ll never burn them off and it engine will be destroyed

CC is crucial. But you forgot top tier fuel. Shell V-Power is proven to be more efficient by power and consumption. 25 mpg vs 18 mpg hwy for my SL65.

the only time cruise control can possibly be more efficient is when you're one a looong flat road. if there's any hills at all the mpg will go up and down based on which side of the hill you're on. you can set the throttle with your foot and you will get a constant steady mpg. you will just speed up going downhill and slow down going uphill. way more efficient than CC because CC completely let's of going downhill which causes a loss in momentum that you need to get up the other side

Optimal tire pressure also helps. And also check air filters as well and avoid long idle time if possible

cruise control with the new radar cruise control in new cars wastes fuel I can feel the car never anticipates like I would do to slow down for traffic it always uses the brakes and when the traffic clears the car accelerates aggressively to reach the determined speed

High rev and speed isn't that bad. If it's constant, like driving on a motorway, then yes, the fuel consumption will be less. However, if it's been done spontaneously, like on a short road, then expect high consumption.
