You are correct. It is only suffering to us because we are letting go of the worldly desires and we are not used to it but the more we chase God the more we realise it’s all we need because he gives us everything but the difference is we start putting God first before anything else and then everything else becomes more meaningful and purposeful. The trials we go through teach us to surrender to God and become more faithful in him.
