@ajla.alihodzic: If you’re struggling right now read this post 3 years ago I shattered my ankle so badly the doctors said they only see these types of breaks in car accidents and it changed my life. I remember sitting in hospital being in absolute tears when the Dr told me the news. I’d never broken anything before, let alone had surgery. I was terrified. Before my break I had been “doing the work” but also still going out drinking, doing drugs, smoking, partying etc. Not like before, but enough to think I was fine. I had to learn how to walk again. Being bed ridden for most of that time was one of the HARDEST things I’ve done. Why? The universe really said girl your gonna have to sit and face your shit, no more avoiding 😂 For the first time I couldn’t run away (literally lol), numb myself or escape. I didn’t see it at the time but this is where my deep inner healing started and everything changed. Sometimes the hardest things are the doorway to healing. ❤️‍🩹 #healing
