@project_34_selfbuild: I hacked the IKEA EKET series to make a home cinema projector cabinet. I’ve loved the EKET range for ages with it darker wood tone and I was absolutely fed up of the projector sitting on the floor. It’s a short through projector so can sit within the drawer and be easily stored away making a media unit. I used 3 of the drawer units and 2 cubes. For the projector drawer I glued the fronts of the 2 drawers together, removed the base of one and added reinforced runners. Making a deeper drawer for the projector to sit in.
