This is such good advice and something I started doing a few years ago and I genuinely feel it changed how people perceived me. I always felt you have to say everything as quickly as possible so I’m not wasting someone’s time, but it probably ended up doing the reverse!

I’ve noticed some of the best orators have a calm confidence and they never rush when they speak. As an audience, it feels grounding to listen to them because we don’t feel rushed either.

When I was younger, I was taught that people consider people experts when they speak faster, as they seem more knowledgeable about the topic. I guess this is the new research ?

How do you do this when people keeps interrupting you or they budge in with their thoughts then leaving you halfway your story?🤦🏻♀️that’s why I tend to speak faster to get my thoughts and story across but I don’t like it🤦🏻♀️
