Feeding babies is already enough of a circus without someone policing your cart.   Here’s how I think about yogurt when I’m choosing one for my own kids:   I want a short ingredient list, a texture babies can actually use, and no added sweeteners. Babies are learning real flavors, and their taste buds don’t need help from sweeteners at this age. I also like picking options with protein, since it gives a little more staying power in those early months of feeding.   And yes, we do get organic for yogurt because it’s one of those foods my kids eat often. When I can choose an organic option that’s also made with no added sweeteners and fits everything I look for, it’s an easy yes AND I find it delicious.
