@nart_real: Man I bet that guy is really wishing he didn’t wear that stupid hat now… Splitgate 2 had to unlaunch and relaunch as “Splitgate Arena Reloaded” following player backlash to new systems in the game. This has not worked out for them because the game can barely hold 1000 players a day on Steam. No, that doesn’t account for console players, but it’s probably pretty indicative of how the general game population is looking. It’s hard to say if the game will last much longer, but I imagine without some huge injection of new players, it’s doomed. 1047 whiffed pretty hard on this one and I think their antics really eroded the goodwill of the playerbase.
