After 22 weeks: Accuracy remains high, although the baby’s position or crossed legs can still occasionally make it difficult to see. Why can it sometimes not be determined? Even at 20 weeks, the sonographer may not be able to tell if: 1. The baby has the legs tightly crossed. 2. The baby is facing away from the probe. 3.
