THIS is what happens when stylists use thinning shears on my wavy hair. Instantly looks so damaged and broken. 😞

Epres bond repair, amika soulfood mask. Use the mask instead of conditioner. Oil your ends 1-2 times daily. Hydration will be your bestfriend!!

honestly you can hydrate the hair with all the products and it'll feel better, but only a haircut is going to remove those split ends. its irreversible damage. no haircare products or treatments will fix this, it'll judt make it feel less dry/damaged. sorry girl 🥲

If your hair was already damaged the answer isn’t more chemicals.

Licensed stylist 🙋🏼♀️i agree with other stylist in the comments. Keep heat down to a minimum, regular cuts, hair masks, and start the health of the hair from within. Antioxidant rich food, bovine colostrum, methylated multivitamins and a mineral dense salt in your water everyday. Your hair will grow like a weed and then those regular cuts will clean it up in no time! ❤️🙏

stylist of 25 years here, redken bonding treatment only. 10 min on damp hair before shampoo and conditioner (pureology hydrate sheer) sheer is more lightweight. use treatment multiple wash days and then once a week

Did they use the razor for layering, that happened to me once! Razor layering is not for every hair type!

do you wear your hair up a lot in messy buns? Do you use elastic rubber bands? Do you put it up wet? Let it air dry? Sleep with wet hair? Use heat protection? Because all of those things can make your hair look like that!

the people gaslighting you in the comments 🤣 girl as a hairstylist, looking at the top and bottom yes it's fried. and it's probably a combination of your stylist & your home aftercare. like they said K18 will help, regular trims & research local stylists that aren't influencers. they're not all great. but they're not all bad either. 💖
