@blueacregarden: Did you know poinsettias can be year-round houseplants with the right care? These beautiful plants, often enjoyed only during the holidays, are actually perennials that can live for years indoors. To keep your poinsettia healthy as a houseplant: - Place it in bright, indirect light near a south, east, or west-facing window for at least 6-8 hours daily. Avoid direct sunlight and keep away from cold drafts or heat vents. - Water thoroughly when the top inch of soil feels dry to the touch. Overwatering leads to root rot, so never let the plant sit in standing water. - Maintain room temperatures between 65-70°F during the day and no cooler than 55-60°F at night for optimal growth. - No fertilizer is needed while in bloom, but once flowers (technically bracts, or modified leaves) fade, feed monthly with a balanced houseplant fertilizer to encourage new growth. #PoinsettiaCare #HouseplantTips #IndoorPlants #PoinsettiaAsHouseplant #plantcareguide

What if most of the leaves have already fallen off? Still worth repotting?

Mine turn green. How do you keep the color leaves? New leaves are always green

Any tips for a poinsettia that didn't bloom? I had let mine get root bound and should have put it in a bigger pot in the summer, but I very carefully moved it to a bigger pot in November during the time it would be in the dark. But really never came close to blooming.
