I remember the council of something meeting that they had last year and they asked that man that works for the federal if minimum wage could be raised from $7.25 an hour and that man told the other man no I forgot what meeting that was.

Yup this was caused by manufactured shortage from corporations buying up houses. At the same time they lobby against minimum wage raises.
