@megankron_sourdough: Cold temps? NO PROBLEM! @Cozy Bread sent me a warning mat to help my starter during these cold months we have ahead of us and I LOVE it! Starters thrive on warm environments, some of us live in older houses, so keeping our starters “warm” during below freezing months, is definitely a challenge! I did an experiment in real time today just to see how good this mat works! I have never used one before and I wasn’t sure what to expect. However, I am happy to say it was a success and SO worth it!
