My boy used to be like this too so I would often play hairdresser at home with him ( obviously not actually cutting his hair) but teaching him how to sit still and getting him used to the sound of the clippers.We would go through all of the same steps so he would know exactly what to expect for the real thing! we also did this for the dentist!
