My mom passed away unexpectedly and I didn’t have anytime to process (single mom only child) bc I had to find all her information after not living with her for 5 years I didn’t even know where she banked at that being said I immediately started to gather all MY information together in one place just incase something like that happened and my husband or daughter had to figure it out

it's wild that they tell you to put things like account passwords in one of these and then the accounts make you change your passwords very very often 😬

Awesome! My husband is a funeral director and I can’t stress this enough! He put everything together for me and vice versa!! Passwords accts life insurance policies etc!!

My friend died in a plane crash leaving two boys and a husband behind she left an excel file in her computer with all the stuff that her boys needed for school applications etc.

This! But also make sure you add passwords to all your utilities, mortgage, cell phone, subscriptions, bank accounts and social media accounts an it’ll be perfect for a “if I go missing” too! It cuts through so much red tape if that happens. Crime Junkies podcast has a whole list on their website of what information you need to keep in a binder for this.
