no real because why do people assume that we get everything we want in life. like yes our parents give us attention but we learn to grow up independently and alone. we get attatched to people outside of our family too much and we are always alone. we always have the need to be around people that arent our parents at night. like realizing that our kids wont have an aunt or uncle on our side. like being an only child has its perks(like always being first in the family, getting alot of stuff etc) but no one sees the dark side of not having a sibling bond to look up to.

Being an only child is like a part of my body is missing i didn’t know i missed, as i grew up. and somebody asked me if i ever wished i had siblings i would say no, even tho i knew deep inside of me i wished every night having siblings, whenever people talk about siblings i just laugh and joke about mine, but coming home to an empty house, having to be everything at home, quiet Christmas, growing up around adults, the feeling of knowing i will never be an biological aunt, is no fun, i need me time after hanging out with friends, because i am so used to being alone i am so grateful for everything but oh i wished i had siblings.
