I’m a new to sewing, but have jumped in with both feet taking classes and sewing my own clothes. Im flying to NY for work and want to shop for fabric because STL isn’t good for fashion fabrics. Any recommendations on 2-3 fabric stores I should to go while in NY next week?

First the garment district overwhelms me. When I go for a specific piece in mind I can focus. Wish we had something close to us. I just want Emily’s fabrics she wears in Paris. I literally stop the feed and take snapshots of her clothes 💗💗

I would LOVE to get your take on best cottons & linens (and cottons for sweaters) as I don't buy leather, wool, cashmere etc. I am in awe of sustainability like Stella McCartney uses etc. ❤️

Morning dose of Molly. I absolutely love your passion for your clothes. This space is a happy one. thank you. I love well made poly. it stays polished. cottons and linens are beautiful and breathable in summer but wrinkles matter in my world.
