My rhetorical question is, why can’t I use the app to purchase the ticket on the train and then activate it? I do it all the time way before the conductors even anywhere near me and it does nothing to cause any kind of problems and it takes no more of the conductors time and across the MTA actually nothing. I can see when somebody had to buy something on the train and the conductor how to do something charging a surcharge, but this is just almost punitive. And you can’t buy it at the night before so you know it’s it’s just makes it less convenient and it makes people unhappy. What do you wanna make everyone unhappy for
