During this assistance, another vehicle entered the curve, lost control on the wet roadway while attempting to stop, and struck Landyn. Landyn was immediately transported to The Med in Memphis, where he is currently receiving care in the Trauma Intensive Care Unit. He sustained a traumatic brain injury, a collapsed lung, and multiple broken bones and several fractures in his face They tried everything with medicine to get the pressure off his brain but were unsuccessful so he is currently undergoing brain surgery to remove part of his skull.
