The only knights and men who fought for us have been in novels throughout the ages. As someone else said, unfortunately men have never really fought for women. They fought for land, power, ego. But just think how better the world would be if they had? 😭

That argument sounds poetic, but falls apart the second you zoom out. Men didn’t go to war for women—they went to war for kings, land, power, survival, or because they were forced to. Most of those men didn’t get romance or gratitude as a reward; they got trauma or graves. Wrapping that history in chivalry is just selective nostalgia. If you want medieval courting, you also have to accept medieval outcomes and nobody actually wants that
