i don’t know about not having a savings account. i use my savings account as an emergency fund. you’ve gotta have that money on hand immediately.

I’m 18, should I wait to get a credit card until I’m enrolled in college so I can get a student card?

Im 19 turning 20 this year and I am thinking about getting a credit card and strictly using it only for gas and paying it off every 2 weeks. Is this a good idea? My goal is to build my credit score.

Why do you only use a credit card? Do you pay it back after every purchase? Or the end of the month?

I’m about to start as a tax accountant, would it be smart to do the 401k (4%) for my firm, contribute the max to a Roth IRA to S&P 500, get an economic car like a Honda civic, and put the rest of my savings into a hysa like capital one where I have my cards (750 credit score no college debt 22 years old) that does 3.3% and only keep enough for expenses in my checking account and save up for a duplex in a couple years? Or do you recommend anything different
