Workflow AI isn't the problem. Bad instructions are. I've seen people say: "AI built the workflow, so it must be correct." No. AI doesn't automatically understand your business logic. I tested the same lead qualification workflow with two different prompts. Prompt 1: "Build me a lead qualification workflow." Result? ❌ Generic, wrong branches, missing logic. Prompt 2: I gave AI the exact qualification rules, scoring system, disqualifiers, notification conditions, pause rules, and escalation logic. Result? ✅ Much better. But a human still had to review, connect the logic, test the workflow, and QA the system. That's the point: AI can build faster. But you still need to think better. Workflow AI isn't really a "builder." It's a logic translator. And if your thinking is fuzzy, your workflow will be fuzzy too.
