I travel with an HDMI device however a lots of hotels are having the HDMI inputs disabled on the tv’s so you can’t use them.

Android phone already have this feature built into the OS. It's called Smart view. Scroll down right side top menu and you'll see it at the bottom. If the TV is connected to the internet, which most are today, you can connect your phone to the tve via Smart view and watch whatever is on the phone casted to the TV. Firesticks and other streaming media devices have a function called mirroring. If you want to cast your phone to a fire stick just enable mirroring in the fire stick.

The hotels dont care if you plug your phone or devices into the TV. We care that you dont plug OUR stuff back in & you steal the HDMI cords when you leave.
