my father always says that poor people can't afford cheap things - if u buy it cheap u buy it twice and we can't afford that. sometimes it is better to spend a little more money than but it twice but cheap

especially the dentist!! i skipped going to my annual cleanings for a few years to save money and i was in college far away from my own dentist. eventually went in cause i had a tooth ache and found out i needed a root canal and multiple cavities filled. i floss and brush twice a day, so i thought i was okay. bill ended up costing me over $2k with insurance.

One thing I learned as a thirty something is that I didn’t take pillows, shoes and a good desk chair seriously enough 😭 my feet and neck are constantly KILLING me now

I feel this! I got a chipped tooth fixed cheap and it broke off within 2 days. 4 years later I paid for an expensive replacement and I can’t believe I spent so long with a chipped tooth for like sake of 100£
