@eva_themomfluencer: I’m 36... and these are the 5 things I started doing in my 30’s (as a new mom) that completely shifted my life👇🏻 1️⃣ I finally started prioritizing my needs. Don’t get me wrong. Baby came first (she still does)…But I was no longer LAST. I learned how to make time for myself and do things I enjoy, which in turn made me a calmer, happier mom. 2️⃣ I stopped compulsive people pleasing. I’ve been a people pleaser my whole life. I wanted them to like me. I’d make myself uncomfortable just to make others happy more times than I can count… Once I had my daughter, I finally realized... she’s watching me, leaning how to be. I want her to see me say “no” to things that don’t serve me, so she will grow up to do the same. 3️⃣ I started paying attention to how foods affect me. I have a major sweet tooth, always have. I love bread, pasta…. Kept a supply of snacks in my glove compartment for years🫣 But the older I got the more I realized food isn’t just “food”. It’s fuel. And I never noticed how constantly exhausted and fatigued I feel from the diet I was eating until I started paying attending and changed it. 4️⃣ I stopped playing small and started dreaming bigger than I ever have. It wasn’t just about me anymore. I dreamt bigger for US. I wanted to be home with her. I wanted to say “yes” to things. Take adventures. Create memories. And this time, instead of just dreaming about it, I took the steps to make it happen. 5️⃣ I learned how to make money online- something I NEVER thought I’d be successful at. I’ve tried side hustles for years. Wasted time, money, and felt like nothing out there actually works. Then I decided to give it ONE MORE TRY 🙏🏻 And honestly? It’s been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I get to be home. I no longer answer to a boss or ask permission for a day off. We’ve paid off debt. Took vacations.
