Honestly it sounds embarrassing but I skipped a lot of my required reading in school and now I’ve noticed a significant lingual decline over the past 3 years, and now I legitimately struggle to read a few pages and taking it in without losing interest. Does anyone have a recommendation for a book that’s on the shorter side but can potentially bring me into the world of reading again? My brain craves true wonder and a slower pace.

What calls you out of your own deep is NOT reading the ideas of another, rather it IS enlightening yourself by writing your own ideas into intelligible and emotion ‘work’—as Herald bloom would say. Writing is so much more profound and rewarding than reading could ever be.
