The so-called "Golden Age of Islam" is a myth, covering up theft, plagiarism, seizure, and destruction of knowledge.
We are constantly fed the names of "great Muslim scholars": Ibn Sina (Avicenna), Al-Farabi, Al-Biruni, Omar Khayyam, Nasir al-Din al-Tusi, Zakariya al-Razi, Jabir ibn Hayyan, Jalal ad-Din Rumi, and others.
But let's be honest - almost all of these people were Persians, not Arabs. Their knowledge and discoveries did not grow out of Islam - they became possible despite Islamic oppression.
After 750, Muslim conquerors swept across the world with fire and sword: they captured Persia, Egypt, India, Syria, and North Africa. Along with the territories, they seized libraries - true treasure troves of human thought. In these collections were works of Greeks, Romans, Babylonians, Indians - on mathematics, medicine, astronomy, philosophy. And what did the Muslims do?
They began not only to destroy the works of the kafirs massively but also to steal - to appropriate what belonged to others. They translated the works into Arabic, removed the names of the original authors, reworked some of it, and declared this knowledge "achievements of Islam."
This is not progress - this is intellectual theft in its pure form.
Arabs at that time did not consider it shameful to steal books. Hafs - the one whose version of the Quran is now considered official - was known as a thief. He simply did not return other people's books and signed them with his name. This is recorded in Islamic sources themselves. So "science" and "enlightenment" in Arabic are simply legalized appropriation of someone else's work - theft.
The "Golden Age of Islam" is not an era of progress, but a time when Islam absorbed other civilizations, killed free thought, and burned everything that did not conform to the Quran. Historians acknowledge: up to 90% of works from libraries in conquered regions were destroyed. The remaining 10% were saved by a few scholars, mostly not Arabs, but Persians - because they were interested, not because Allah inspired them.
The so-called "Arabic numerals"? They are actually Indian. They were simply stolen, translated, and given an Islamic label.
How convenient, rig
