Yea the blade it’s weak, no clip and some dirt and cement got in. Almost did not want to retract. Definitely not job site approved.

I got it this tuesday. Stopped retracting 2 hours later. Its now a paper weight and embarrassing because my lead mechanic “thought it was cute”

cool you should sell that in China where it’s made. I have never had a Stanley fail me. Only tape measure that ever broke on me was a Canadian made one and I only had that because at the time the cabinet shop I was working at used metric.
