I don't like the taste, I don't like the way it makes me feel, I'm on many medications that you can't drink while on, and l have non alcoholic cirrhosis which drinking would make worse and could become life threatening.

I chose not to drink because when I turned 21 and tried alcohol, I realized I hated the taste, but kept drinking because I liked the buzz. Figured out I have an addictive personality, and me drinking would more than likely ended in alcoholism.

I really just don’t wanna 😭 I’m 17, almost 18 and when I’m 21 I’ll probably TRY some but I just don’t myself ever drinking, smoking or vaping ever, it seems so unpleasant 😭

I have digestive issues including severe GERD. Alcohol causes flares & makes me really sick and since I don't enjoy pain or being sick I don't drink.

Most alcohol has gluten in it and I’m extremely gluten intolerant like to the point that even the tiniest bit of gluten will have me in crippling pain and on the toilet for WEEKS

No one should ever judge anyone for not drinking. It’s absolutely a valid, acceptable choice. If you are sober for whatever reason, I don’t need a glass of wine or beer when we hang out. It’s that easy.

My husband works in maintenance and is constantly teased for not drinking. He doesn't want to go to the bar when he doesn't drink. He made the choice young to not drink, once we had kids that choice was even more set in stone as he didn't want his kids to grow up with a drunk like he did. His dad and grandfather were alcoholics. His dad has been sober about 10 years now ❤️

3 other reasons I want add on here, first one being that the smell could be triggering to some people, my second one being that they don’t want to use the bathroom frequently and my third one is due to whatever condition that someone has that effects them from drinking

My mom has two cousins that died as a result of their alcohol addiction. On my dad’s side of the family there some mental health issues. I have the Bipolar disorder that runs on my dad’s side. I will not drink because of it. If I were to drink alcohol it could interfere with my bipolar meds and could be very dangerous. My meds I’m on now have been working well for the last fifteen years and I have been doing well on the meds. There is no way I am going to do anything to mess that up.
