suggestion for those dieting who want to air fry: add a little oil to the soy sauce step and combine before the dry spices. this comes out still pretty good but lower fat.

crispy tofu like this is one of my regular go-to meals. or I'll often drain the oil from the pan after I make it crispy, then toss in some teriyaki sauce. serve it with rice and veggies
