မောင်ဘုန်း :
Over 2,500 years ago, Prince Siddhattha of Kapilavatthu left his palace after seeing old age, sickness, and death. He practiced meditation and austerities, finally attaining enlightenment under the Bodhi tree at age 35, becoming the Buddha.
For 45 years, he taught the Dhamma—the truth—guiding humans and gods on right and wrong, good and evil, and the path to Nibbana, the ultimate liberation from suffering. He founded the monastic community (Sangha) to preserve and spread his teachings.
A Buddhist takes refuge in the Triple Gems—Buddha, Dhamma, and Sangha—following morality, meditation, and wisdom to gain peace, happiness, and enlightenment.
