The nurse in me is thinking he has been diagnosed with dementia and doesn't want to tell her yet. The part of me that consumes too much Tiktok and Redit is thinking he jumped timelines and is trying to figure out what has changed and what is the same. 😂

I behaved this exact way for months after I had a stroke (memory will always be an issue, but I understand it now) I didn't even realize I had a stroke until my family intervened.

My uncle that raised me was asking crazy questions right before he got diagnosed with brain cancer. He passed only a couple of months after. I still feel like to this day that if I would’ve got him to the doctor before he had a stroke, maybe he would still be here.
