@actingofficiant: Replying to @susalways want to skip having witnesses at your Wisconsin elopement? Here’s a cool option! You can “self-solemnize,” signing the officiant portion of the license alongside your partner, and then have your officiant and photographer sign as witnesses. Less pressure, more flexibility, still legally married. Getting married in Southeast Wisconsin? So whether we get the license online or in person, when they ask who our officiant is, do we just tell them we’re doing the self-solemnization option?

So my goal is to hire someone to come do like a yard/ house wedding. My mom did it. I’m assuming I would need to get the marriage license and stuff first or how does something like this work? How do I even find someone to do this how much would that cost or is it vary on the person. The person who did my moms doesn’t do it. So many questions. I’m so excited to marry my best friend🙂
